I need a good dentist in houston who can do crowns?
The last time I was in Germany, a dentist did a gold onlay. She did not do it well and it would come off every 6 months or so. Later I came to know that she did a preparation for ceramic onlay and put a gold onlay. This was the reason why it would come off again and again. Now my onlay has come out again. A (Russian) dentist I visited told me I need to do a crown now which is like a cap on my teeth. I need to know a really good dentist in Houston area so that I dont have to face the same problem of a shoddy work as my earlier dentist in Germany. Please help.
Guys thanks for the answer. But pls read the question. WD doesnt even exist in Houston. And I do know ADA and 1800 Dentist. I need to know from anyone who has had a very good experience at a Dentist or a bad experience. I want to go by word of mouth please. Before I commit to go to one dentist I need to know that she will not do a shoddy job. Rather I need to know a Dentist who is known to do a good job.
I need good dentists in Houston and around please. Not CA or WY please.

From what I understand from a few of my returning patients, German dentists are not very good. We have a few patients that come to us every year at Christmas time to have their work completed for just that reason. Most general dentist do good crowns, as they are time consuming, but not difficult. I would do some research on dentists in your area, do a consultation & if you feel comfortable with that Dr. have him/ her do it. If not try another dentist. Remember, you can always have your recent x-rays transferred to another office if you give them enough time to be mailed to your next dental office that way you do not have to continue to pay for them.
